promote the adoption of documented procedures and appropriate registration
systems among the different operators of the chain food. This shall
allow to define the identity of suppliers, ingredients and foodstuffs,
and, if that is the case, the origin of the animals for the exclusive
identification of the product, from its entry into the premises and
throughout the manufacturing and distribution stages, so that it is
possible to take actions on a particular product.
To
implement a system which ensures that the product offers the necessary
information to guarantee traceability, such as the marking of products
or lots, so that they can be identified at every stage of the manufacturing
and selling stages, samples tests can be carried out, and the filed
claims can be studied.
