The training course was held during the med term vacation and to assure the implementation of the safety and the quality requirements during school meal processing. whom work in the previous production centers. The training course is according to the overall orientation of reforming program for (SFP). The reforming program for (SFP) aims to upgrade the technical and vocational level of managerial level employers and workers through continuous training to develop the human resources and add highest value to the workers production efficacy Training course on: Nutrition Awareness from 03/05/09 to 06/05/09 at Food Technology Research Institute. The training course aimed to train for 25 trainers (TOT) {as a theoretical training} for 4 days on the basics of good nutrition and how to resolve the problems. After that, the 25 trainers trained 115 facilitators in 50 Egyptian rural villages in 7 governorates (Nobaria, Ismalia, Kaffer-elshekh, Fayoum, Dakhlia, Behera and Assuitt) those facilitators will transfer the information at the level of the village, through network called “RADCON" established by the Agricultural Research Center & FAO, which aims to help in rural development and the development of maternal and households through the transforming centers located in 50 villages where the village equipped with a computer and two facilitators who were trained through the 25 trainers trained in FTRI. (Providing Medical Care to Victims of Explosions) Three EFSIC members attended the "Providing Medical Care to Victims of Explosions" from 9-11/11/08. The training course was organized by German Medicinal Center (EGC). At the end of the training course, the three EFSIC members passed the exam and certified. In the future, this activity will be used in School Feeding Project (SFP) to restore their occupational health and safety of workers during working in the production centers.
